Ask a Question
  • When put the motor on a 45 degrees angle pointing toward the bank on the dock mount. Is this the correct position? Can u point the motor on a 45 degree pointing downward too? Which is the better position of the two?

For de-icing, point the prop upwards at a 45 degree angle towards the surface in the direction you want to de-ice. This will create a flow of warmer water located closed to the bottom and move it to the surface where it will keep ice from forming and will melt existing ice in the area of the flow.

It is not advised to point the motor downward, as this will blow out the bottom material in the area of the flow and create a hole.
