Do you have any kind of fraud protection?
Yes. Kinetic Water Features uses 3rd party fraud protection services provided by ClearSale and Signifyd, to ensure that our customers are protected against ID theft, and to protect us against fraudulent orders. In most cases, these services complete their review within minutes, after which we will capture your payment information and begin processing your order. If you pay via PayPal or Amazon Pay payment portals, payment authorization is instantaneous, and order processing begins immediately.
Do you charge sales tax?
We only charge sales tax if you are located in the State of Texas (which is where our business is registered) and California.
What are your hours of business?
We are always open online, and we readily pick up the phone and accept chats 9 am - 9 pm CST.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. All orders over $75 come with free shipping, even heavier items that require freight shipping services.
How long does it take to ship my order?
We carry water features and other garden furniture and accessories from a variety of US manufacturers. If the product you order is available within our supplier’s warehouse, it will typically ship within 24-48 hours after you place your order.
Some of the fountains we carry are made-to-order, with custom finishes you select. When you place an order for a custom-made product, there is typically a 2-3 week lead time, after which shipping will typically take 3-5 business days. If you need a product quickly, please call 800-291-3013 or email Sales@KineticWaterFeatures.com, before placing your order, so that we can ensure your needs can be accommodated.
How are the fountains shipped and delivered?
All of our products are shipped directly from our supplier’s warehouses. For smaller, lighter-weight orders, the products can be shipped via UPS or FedEx. All of our larger products, including many of our fountains and garden furniture, are shipped by freight. Freight shipments are closely coordinated with our customers, and the driver will call in advance to schedule an appointed time for delivery.
Do you install the fountains upon delivery?
Most of our fountains are fairly easy to install, and instructions are provided. Some suppliers even post installation videos on YouTube, to help ensure you know exactly how to set things up. As a courtesy to our customers, we offer “white” glove installation services, where for an applicable fee, we will find a local, bonded landscaper to install your fountain.
How can I control organic growth, such as algae?
Fountains are of course lovely additions to any garden or home, but without proper maintenance, they can become breeding grounds for algae. Algae are a diverse group of aquatic organisms that have the ability to conduct photosynthesis. To prevent algae growth, we recommend that fountains and ponds be drained and cleaned every few months with mild soap. You may also use fountain algaecides, such as EasyCare FounTec Algaecide and Clarifier, which is safe for plants, birds, and wildlife, but not fish. It also helps keep water bodies free of mosquito larvae.
How can I prevent hard water mineral deposits from forming?
There are a number of commercial products on the market that can eliminate the buildup of scale or mineral deposits in hard water environments. One of our favorites is McGrayel Protec 60064 Scale and Stain Preventative and Remover. This product, and ones like it, help maintain the beauty of statuary surfaces without scrubbing; and they protect water pumps from corrosion and mineral damage. Additionally, the low phosphate formula is safe for plants, birds, and animals.
Can I add lighting to my fountain?
We carry a number of illuminated fountains for you to choose from. However, if you find a fountain that you love which does not already come equipped with lighting, we can help you find the right lights that would be perfect for your needs. Just call or email us to get help.
Can I order physical samples?
Yes. For many of our products, material samples are available, and the cost, typically around $25 for 3 samples, will be deducted from your order cost upon checkout. Call us today at 800-291-3013 if you would like to have samples shipped to you.
Can I get an auto-refill system added to my order?
Most products can accommodate an auto-refill system. Please call us to discuss the fountain you are interested in, and we can work with you to find the appropriate auto-refill system.
How should I take care of my outdoor fountain during cold winter months?
We strongly recommend that before freezing weather occurs in your area, that you drain your fountains and ponds, clean and cover them. Likewise, it is strongly recommended that you remove pumps drain pipes, and other small components, to prevent damage from freezing.
